There are over 3 million people living here in Singapore in a small 600 sq. km area. It has to be the one of the worlds most densely populated cities and the price of housing here is quite expensive due to the scarcity of land. This is why they have had to build tall skyscrapers in order to keep up with the demand.

There are loads of shopping malls located around here and the entire shopping belt covers about 3 kilometres of shopping extravaganza.
Singapore offers the visitor a melting pot of ethnic cuisine at really great prices and usually most nights one can find something to eat up till 5 in the morning. Because of the multi racial society around Singapore, the variety of food in the city is amazing.
